Tribal Woman

She and her little papoose are one of my favorite mini figure sets, I keep her at my computer desk. Her only issue is you can't move her head very far beyond straight forward and not have baby pop off. Still super cool. Baby fits onto the top of her hand as well as her back. Hope they make more with babies or kids. I do have babysitter with baby and Simpsons kids too. Still need family with baby from park set... more less

I am quite pleased. As I mentioned, the Indians subtheme was important to me growing up, so there is nostalgic value to this Minifig. But, she is also nicely painted in native-style garb. Her hairpiece is the same as what the Minifigures had in the Western theme, but her feathers are not the simple black and white of those days, but incorporate red as well. Her moccasins are painted all the way around her legs, but she has no detailing on the back of the torso. The Minifig does come with an attachment that covers her back and allows the baby included to be attached. I also really like the baby, it is always cool to get unique accessories. more less

I've said this before, but LEGO has continued to step up their game with the Collectible Minifigures theme and Series 15 (71011) does not disappoint. There are some minifigures that are more sought after than others but I see every single one of them having a place somewhere in the LEGO universe and in many MOCed themes. more less

The parts assortment is above average and the superb thing is the introduction of the baby. It is very generic looking and can be used for all sorts of LEGO eras in your settings. The LEGO baby can be placed at the back of the mother with this accessory holder. I suspect many people will be fond of this character for the fact of wanting to own that baby. more less

So my overall thoughts are its a damn good series I think we only got 4 weak minifigures, the rest were high quality. My top 4 were the farmer, Animal Control Officer, shark suit guy and the wrestler. Each time you wonder what LEGO can come up with next and yet they continue to really impress me. I love new elements that can be used in my own creations and series 15 is packed with them. more less

The Tribal Girl happens to go perfectly with the Tribal Chief - perhaps that's their baby that she is holding? In terms of the minifigure itself, it's perfectly fine but I don't personally have much use for the figure. I do like the baby, the first such LEGO baby created if I'm not mistaken. more less

The Tribal Woman, while not a totally original character or concept is an excellent minifigure for collectors purely based on the baby accessory. Now that LEGO have officially made babies a thing, I really hope to see more variants of this accessory. more less

It is worth mentioning that there are five female figures here to the eleven males, which is a fairly standard ratio now even though there are plenty of opportunities to make it an even split. The handicap guy is something fans have responded to well, pairing well with the upcoming wheelchair figure. The Shark Guy is pretty fun. We get a couple of animals. Everyone has their favorites, though most of the popular figs come with large odds in favor of fans. Basically, there is a little of something here for everyone, which is the best thing to be said about any Collectible Minifigure Series. more less

There have been at least two Native American figures in the long history of CMFs, the first one going all the way back to series 1. This is an interesting one, not just for her decorated feathers and printed arms, but she has a little surprise on her back. Yes, it's the first official Minifigure baby. Thankfully TLG molded the part of the papoose with holes on the bottom instead of an integrated neck bracket, allowing the baby to be held or put in a crib of your own construction. This figure also has double shot molded legs, subtle but very effective. more less
