I've read these were discontinued ? My grandson loves to put these together. I bought all in this series for him. He started building this type of legos when he turned 4, he's now almost 6. The are all a hit. I love hearing him use his imagination while building and explaining the toy.

He's not the most interesting of the Stars, but he is still good, and in my opinion, worth a purchase.

The Piraka were a legend in '06, and I'm very pleased to see one make a comeback in 2010, however, if you just want to buy it for the set, it's not really worth the eight USD. But for nostalgia's sake, sure, this is a great set, and a great way to send off the BIONICLE set line. And don't forget, if for nothing else, you can always buy it for some short guy to boss the Piraka around.

Not much posing is allowed on a set with "pre-bent" arms and legs. The spine is much more flexible than the original Piraka spines, and don't really hinder the posing of the set. He can't look much downwards though, as the spiky chin collides with the torso.
