Wow, this set was good. Lego had made a set similar to this one in 2014 or 2015 I believe, and this one is better by far. The number of new pieces released since then made this car look a lot like the real thing, compared to the other one. I like getting the laptop with the exclusive sticker on it, with the light pole. Having another set of hubcaps is cool too. The price is a bit high, but licensing fees cost a lot, so that could be understandable. The only thing I dislike is that almost all the Speed Champions sets are very sticker-heavy, which makes them a pain considering that most of the bricks are on the smaller side. Stickers could be abandoned in favor of prints. Overall, 9.5/10, I like the build and sturdiness, but a bit heavy on stickers.
I am impressed with this set. The build looks good despite some minor problems, with very unique shaping and a nice color scheme. The minifigure included is okay, though one more would have been nice. Playability is good, as the car is fun to drive around, and I have no issues with the price of Speed Champions sets of this size.
75887 is probably not the most accurate officially-licensed vehicle in the Speed Champions range, but it'll be good enough for the target audience, it's a fun (and reasonably technical) build, and if you like stickers (and what 7 year old doesn't?) it has them in abundance! A worthwhile starter set.
It's a little hard to recommend this set at retail price but if you're a completionist, you'll end up getting this set anyways. Don't get me wrong, I like the set but it's a vehicle that we've gotten before with small changes to it.
It's a perfectly good set but it hasn't set me on fire - though it's hard to pinpoint exactly why that is. I definitely prefer the 75886 Ferrari 488 GT3 Scuderia Corsa in terms of looks and I guess that's simply the reason - a personal preference. A quick and unscientific show of hands in my household yielded the same result.
