It's LEGO, what do you expect? Of course it is the best gift for anyone old or young.
Very cool build. Sets a perfect action scene for play. Seems to be inspired by the Sandman from Spider-Man 3 and the Rhino from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Nice combo. The construction site has lots of detail and movie parts for its relatively small size. There is potential for some of the decals and the building of the set to pose a challenge. Was quite fun to build. Rhino's mech suit was surprisingly detailed, dexterous, and looks pretty cool. The Sandman's "arms" in the construction site are a good idea but don't pan out the best in actuality. The figures included with the set are all pretty great in my opinion. I don't know much of Iron-Spider's background but the figure looks awesome. While it's a fun set to build and I'm sure to play, my only suggestion for improvement would be increasing the size of the construction site and maybe adding a vehicle like a cement mixer.
This building set has a lot of cool features and details that Marvel fans will appreciate as they play out all sorts of imaginative storylines. The Super Jumper piece adds more action to the play for high-flying Spidey stunts.

This isn't the worst set I've ever built (looking at you, Wookie Catamaran), but even by playset standards this is bad. The minifigs, while unique, just aren't all that special. There seem to be a lot of parts, but a lot of them are tiles, 1×1 plates, and things like the webbing or technic structures. The only highlight of the set itself would be the sticker sheet, as a lot of those things could be used elsewhere. Worse than the parts, though, is that the playset features honestly don't make a lot of sense. The hands are the best idea, but the whole thing is simply just too fragile to really be decent at any of the play stuff.
Super Heroes sets are often heavily reliant upon the minifigures as a selling point, but never before to this extent. The minifigure selection is excellent, despite the lack of a bigfig for Rhino, with three new characters and an improved outfit for Spider-Man. The Rhino mech and construction site on the other hand are dreadful. I was not expecting a good display model or an interesting build, but the fragility of the set renders it almost unplayable. Of the sets I own this is easily the worst I can recall in terms of design as not only does it look awful but it is so easily broken that one dare not touch it, let alone play with it. The set literally crumbled in my hands as I moved it for photography, which is totally unacceptable.
