I am a big lego fan, and have recently been collecting mini figs. This particular fig caught my eyes because of the fun pirate style, and the detailed design (the leg, the sword, the hand and the print on the hat). The seller is pretty good. Product shipped on time, and in unopened bag.
The LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 8 has has not met my 'wow' expectations unlike previous Series, especially the recent Series 7 which had totally blew my mind away. This new Series 8 provided lots of new unique characters and introduced some useful new accessories like the pretzel, lasso, fairy wings, etc. The character design in general, has some forms of repetitions and re-hashes like seeing Cheerleader, Downhill Skier, Evil Robot, Cow Girl, DJ, and a few unnamed others. In fact, I find this series to contain the most repetitions unlike any other past series.
I wasn't nearly as excited for this line as I had been for previous ones; I think in part because the novelty is just wearing off at this point, 8 series in. But once I got my hands on them and took a good close look at them, my trepidations fell away, and I went back to feeling that the Collectible Minifigs are as awesome as ever.
