Recommendation: meh 8 / 10 by Paul B

Would I recommend this set? Having built both the A model (F1 Car) and B model (Race Truck) now they each are unique and I would even go as far as to say that in some ways I prefer the B model. I say this as it fits in my collection better and I think it gives you more opportunities for modifications and making improvements which is something I really enjoy doing. [Editor's note: this review is for the alternate model of this set.]

To say my husband loved this would be an understatement! He dove right into building it and had it done in no time. My kids loved pushing it around once it was done too. My only two cents would be concerning the price. If the person you are purchasing for is used to building these type of things, it really takes very little time. For the price I paid, I was hoping it would be more of a challenge. But, that doesn't take away from the fact that my husband loves it. I don't regret my purchase.

This is a pretty great model. As a parts pack alone I am sure it will be highly desireable. On top of that, it is a good looking, reasonably functional, reasonably accurate model. As always, there are nits to pick. I wish the colors were more consistent and the instructions weren't made for a toddler.
