My son had some money saved up and decided he wanted another of these LEGO figures. He has become quite adept at their assembly/dis-assembly and enjoys the story tie-ins available through the LEGO website. Since we had finished The Hobbit as one of our summer reading books, the fantasy and ogre-ish aspects of this figure tied in well with playtime story lines. He was happy when it arrived, he was happy opening the box and then the package. Excited to assemble the toy and then play with it and now it often goes into the backpack when we set out for our "adventures" around town. My son is not rough with his toys (even when I encourage him to be) so these have held up well. The articulation allows for great poses and the interchangeability with pieces from other sets allows for exercising creativity.
In the end, I like Ogrum. He has his shortcomings to be sure, but out of the current villains (and I have them all), I think he's the tops. I'd vote for him versus his compatriots fo sho.
Back then in my review for Breez, I suspected Ogrum to be the better green set of this wave. After owning and comparing Breez and Ogrum, I'd say it's more or less a draw between the two. I liked Breez' dynamic design, and I like Ogrum's bulky look, and both of them come with nice pieces (Breez got the neat helmet, the visor and the new armour, Ogrum comes with a slug, his mask and interesting colours).
