This set with its 3 solid minifigs and way-too-fun play feature is a worthy addition to the Lego Harry Potter lineup.
For anybody craving the figures, just buy it. You won't do better on Bricklink. For anyone else, it's just a tad overpriced, but really not too bad. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
A really enjoyable build, three highly detailed minifigures, a well-designed Arched Doorway, and an interesting play feature all make this set worth picking up. The price isn't all that bad, either. It makes a good gift!
Not much to do here except catapult the figures and make them fly on the broomstick. Then again, that sounds like fun!
I was shocked when I opened box. Could not believe I was charged $75.00 for a little box no bigger than my hand with only 75 pieces. Totally overpriced! I will definitely be embarrassed giving this birthday gift to my granddaughter. It looks like I spent $19.95.
Overall, Freeing Dobby is a pretty nice little set. You get a good set which is sturdy and doesn't break apart that easily when playing with it. You also get a great minifigure with Dobby as well.
There isn't a lot to say about this set, other than it does quite a bit with very little. The play feature is cool, the pieces are nice and interesting and can be farmed for other projects (or used in other contexts). The minifigures are the major draw, especially the Dobby minifigure, which is unique.
