Overall, the Series 13 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71008) are one of the best series I've seen in a while. The minifigures can appeal to a wide range to collectors and many of them can be potential army builders. Some of them are just wacky while others can fit into many MOCed themes as well. Designing new minifigures can be a daunting task but it seems that LEGO has got another hit with Series 13.

Space minifigures will always occupy a special place in my heart. Although it seems like a recycled concept, LEGO has done a remarkable job ensuring that it feels fresh thanks to the great colour scheme as well as the brand new, sleek space armour. When Series 7 was out, I amassed quite a large army of Galaxy Patrols, so I might just do the same this time around.
