My 5 years old is doing this collection. They are really fun little figures and spaceships. And he is practicing his fine motors skills and follow directions
The AAT (75029) is an okay set that looks more cute than menacing. It does has a few rare and useful pieces if you decide to use the parts for your other builds. The minifigure is overused unless you're building an army and the set to me is just okay but for some people, the set is great to incorporate into your MOCs especially for the Battle of Naboo scenes.
The biggest problem is the value. This doesn't feel like a set that's worth $13 Canadian to me and even at that price (or the $10 it costs south of the border) it is a good parts ratio compared to the usual mini sets that are all tiny pieces. This one was worth it to me for the parts that I'll find useful, but that is it. I'll be throwing another droid in the pile tonight.
